pg_1_element_1_origFrom SML Director, Willy Bemis:

I write with the very sad news that our friend and colleague Dr. Jerry Waldvogel died unexpectedly on Saturday night. Jerry was Professor of Biology at Clemson University and a member of the core faculty of Shoals Marine Laboratory, where he taught Ecology of Animal Behavior for more than 20 years. He also served on the Biological Sciences Curriculum Study (BSCS) and was dedicated to undergraduate education in biology.

Please visit the memorial website at http://jerry-waldvogel.virtual-memorials.com.

Sincerely,
Willy
